Why did you choose to enroll in DMI?
DMI provides me the opportunity to learn new skills in design and explore diverse range of media through creative processes and innovative technology in multidisciplinary projects. I would like to integrate illustration with dynamic media in my future work.
Short Bio
Yiner Xu is an illustrator who specializes in depicting nature with bright colors and various textures. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work emphasizes nature as the main theme incorporating scientific, narrative, and surrealistic aspects with the use of both traditional and digital media. She is interested in various genres of music, photography, musical movies, image collage, and color grading, as well as the field of positive psychology in relation to the pursuit of happiness. After 2-year study in DMI, she will enhance her design skills in digital communication and multimedia.
