DMI Coordinator Professor Jan Kubasiewicz Lectures in Poland and US

DMI Coordinator and Professor of Design, Jan Kubasiewicz, is enjoying a busy summer.

In May 2009, Professor Kubasiewicz presented two lectures during a recent trip to Poland. The first, entitled Visualization: Using Vision to Think was presented at the "Mala Litera Art" lecture series hosted at MS2, the Museum of Modern Art in Lodz. The second lecture, entitled Thoughts On Education of Dynamic Media, was presented at the Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Communication Design, in Katowice.

In June 2009, Professor Kubasiewicz prestented the lecture A Design Perspective on Data Visualization at the Fidelity Center of Applied Technology Global Seminars lecture series in Boston. Following the lecture, he was joined by current DMI student Kent Millard, and both participated in a design critique.

All three lectures featured multiple case studies and recent studio projects developed at the Dynamic Media Institute.
